36Smile! Day 17
I thought it was just another Pandora copycat, but I was wrong.
Pandora chooses similar music based on the artist/song/album you choose and plays different tunes. While with Spotify you can listen to the whole entire album of the same artist. Yes, they both are commericals if you don't pay for the premium. Which honestly, I don't really think there is a point. Most of the time, you're totally engrossed in what you're doing and don't even pay attention when a commercial comes on—unless of course it's while you're working out, then don't choose Pandora.
With Spotify, you can also share your music with others who are connected with you on Facebook, see what they're listening to, listen to their playlists, etc. It's pretty cool.
So today, I found a new artist who I love: Ani Difranco. She's got kind of an Alanis-Morisette—Janis-Joplin—Meredith—Brooks twang to her music. I LOVED it!
She's got a smooth, soulful voice with some great acoustic tunes and up beat songs too. It's great writing/researching and basically chill music. Check her out.
What is your go to chill-a-smile-on-your-face music? Send me the links!
