36Smile! Day 16
Two major things made me smile: my mom who recently had some back surgery—part of her bone was putting pressure on her spine, either due to a recent but minor car accident and/or the effects of radiation— got a clean report. Everything went well with her surgery, pain is subsiding and she is going well. Thank you for all the prayers! Here is to wishing her a speedy recovery! We love you mom!
Second thing: My husband actually had the day off(MLK Day) so we got to spend more time together other then just the weekend.
Sleeping in is always a good—though what I consider sleeping in, my husband does not. I just can't sleep past maybe 9:30, 10:30 if he's lucky. I totally take after my dad in that respect. Even though we stayed up till like 3 watching the rest of Breaking Bad season 4. It's just so easy to watch them all then they are all there.
It was still snowing when we got up and pretty much snowed all day. We ended up walking down to Queen Anne Avenue, had some lunch at Queen Anne Cafe, stopped by Video Aisle and got Season 4 of Caliornication and Planet of the Apes (which we have yet to watch) and walked Mac.
It was a very chill and lazy day. But still had so much fun together! If we have any season of one of our favorite shows, we will sit there all day and watch till we finish—popcorn, chocolate and beer included :)
What is your favorite thing to do with your significant other?
