36Smile! Day 10
When the sun is out here in the Emerald City, so is everyone else!
Don't lie Seattlelites, you're calling in work, ditching that deadline, putting the leash on the pooch, lacing up those Nike's and heading outside faster then you can say Kim K was married to who?
Coming from seeing the sun EVERY day, I definitely am too. Evident from the 1 hour walk I took my pup on today—which are usual 2, 30 min walks broken up during the day, when it's not raining. I didn't want to leave for fear it not coming back..... But all good things must come to end right?
Studies actually show that the UVB(the good rays vs UVA which can cause the sun burn) from the sun are actually good for you, They kick off the chemical and metabolic chain reaction that produces vitamin D. Plus, it just feels good. But remember, moderation, you sun-lacked Seattlelites—and my Houstonians.
While the sun always makes me smile, this view always stops me in my tracks.
I love views like this. If something can make me stop what I'm doing and admire what Mother Nature has created, it's definitely blog post worthy.
I hope you take a little time to take in the view around you.
What's your favorite Seattle—or hometown view? I would love to see your photos!
