A Mother's Love....

Project 36Smile!

...is hard to sum up.

I don't know how many of you have already done your Mother's Day shopping, but I finished mine today.

This—and Father's Day—is probably one of my favorite holidays to shop for because my parents are everything to me and finding something to show them how much they mean to me is beyond impossible. But I can try.

My mom taught my how to put on make up, how to wear the perfect pearls, how to love everything around me. She made all my birthday cakes, took me shopping for my First Communion, Confirmation, Prom and Graduation dresses and the most important dress any girl will ever wear—my wedding dress. She taught me how to be the confident strong woman I am and the loving wife I continue to be every day for Chris.

Um, yea, what are you supposed to give/make/find/send to sum up that?

I think I found something. But these are only things. Life isn't about these things we give our loved ones it's about the memories we have, the love we share and our support we give each other on a day to day basis.

Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving and birthdays are just one extra special day we get to tell our loved ones just how much they mean to us. That doesn't give us a free pass every other day. Make sure you tell your loved ones how much you do love them and how much they mean to you.

I hope my gift sums of the memories and love I have for my mom in a way that's hard to say with words.

What are you going to send your mom? Would love to hear about your gifts and ideas.

36Smile! is blog where Sabrina will be writing about and sharing memories that make her smile 365 days of this year! Too often, we are wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of this crazy little thing called life. We should take time out to enjoy the little things that make us smile and celebrate it! The "S" in 36Smile resembles the "5" in 365 days a year.
