Breakfast Time, Valentines Day Love and Heading to Texas

36Smile! Day 42-45

Monday: Early breakfast with husband and my run time
Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day and of course one of the most important. Your body needs the proper energy from the right foods to get your body and metoblism up and going for the day. Having breakfast and the right snacks also helps you stay full during the day. It was a nice change in our week to get up early—husband had a regular doctors appointment—and have breakfast together.
I also got my 6 mile run in. It felt great! I love feeling productive.

Tuesday: Valentines day lunch and dinner
Like any woman, I like to feel special on Valentines Day—and any day for that matter. But Valentines day is a day where some men actually look forward to spoiling the special lady in their life. Remember though, you should always make that special someone in your life know they mean everything to you, no matter what day it is.
I was running some errands in the morning AND even got the tires rotated on the car—special Valentines day present for the hubs :) Then I met him for lunch, which normally doesn't happen—so the change in the week was nice too.
His favorite eatery, Qdoba, was having a special BOGO entree free, all you had to do was kiss your special someone at the check out. HAHA! It was a cute promo and we had fun!
Then Chris says he wants to go to Barnes and Noble to look at a magazine. I'm thinking, I need to go buy The Hunger Games, so it's perfect. All the while, his whole plan was to buy me the book. Such a sweet husband! He knows how much I have been dying to read it.
I also had a special dinner planned for him. His favorite: spicy chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. A true Southern boy! He had two helpings. I think he was satisfied!
He also put on Angus and Julia Stone, one of my favorite artists. It brought a smile to my face because we used to listen to them when we were hanging out on Maui, too.
It was a special and great night! I am such a lucky woman to be with this man who I love more than anything. Hope your Valentines Day was as special as mine.

Today: Day of Wrapping Up Loose Ends
I will be leaving to go back to Houston in 7 days! For my sister and Dave's wedding! I am beyond excited of course, if you can't tell! I had to go to the vet today to get a health check up and certificate for Mac since I am taking him with me. That was a pain but knowing he was coming with me makes me happy!
I have also been corresponding back and forth with my mom finalizing all of my sister's bridal shower details! This has been my favorite part! Since I love planning events so much, I am glad I am able to plan my sisters—and more importantly that my mom is there to help me. Words can't thank her enough for everything she is helping me do to make this bridal shower great!

Phew! Five days in two posts! Not too bad. I set a goal for myself to write about something that makes me smile for a year. It's definitely going to be a challenge. Especially with Marina's wedding coming up. But I can do it!

I am so grateful for the amazing people in my life who keep me smiling every day.

36Smile! is blog where Sabrina will be writing about and sharing memories that make her smile 365 days of the year! Too often, we are wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of this crazy little thing called life. We should take time out to enjoy the little things that make us smile and celebrate it!
