36Smile! Day 39
I am doing some freelance PR for my old PR agency back in Houston. It's actually felt great to get back to the grind, being out of work for so long.
I've been doing client researching, social media and media calling for an Eagle Scout event the client has honoring seven local business leaders. I've been reaching out to previous media relations I had and making new ones. That's what PR is all about—the contacts.
After only a week of PR work we have received confirmation from about five media publications saying that are going to cover the event/honorees! Hard work does pay off.
I haven't lost my touch. I still know how to get the results the clients—and boss likes. Go me!

Something else that made me smile today was receiving a Valentines Day card from my best friend—bridesmaid and Chi Omega sister. She's is such an amazing friend and I am so lucky to have her in my life. I say it all the time, but it's the little things that matter. Thank you Lons for bringing a smile to my face with your cards and post cards :)
