Fashion's Night Out - Seattle Style!

Fashion Friday's this week is a recap of none other than Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway, A Celebration of Fashion's Night Out! The fashion-filled night was held on Thursday, Sept 6 at Pacific Place.

I was beyond excited to be able to see the latest fall fashion from Seattle's favorite boutiques first hand as Seattle Met sponsored Seattle's inaugural large-scale fashion show! Some notable trends you'll be seeing lots of in the fall:
* leather
* brocade prints
* lady like and girl silhouettes
* pleats
* booties: menswear inspired as well

Photography by Phototainment. Here are some of my favorite note-worthy looks:
Nordstrom

Eileen Fisher

Baby & Co

Macy's

Possibly, one of my favorite looks of the night: Baby & Co very Audrey Hepurn-esque

Alhambra

True Religion Brand Jeans

And if you weren't lucky enough to be at NYFW,  check out the 8 most buzzed about shows at NYFW according to everyone who matters.

Out with the Camo, In with the Flomo!

Yes, please!

This inspiring new palette — a combo of floral and camo — for fall is sure to make anyone wearing it — and seeing it — smile and feel like a model on the runway of life.

Flomo blends the intricate pattern of camo with the light airiness of the ever-loving floral print. I love all the bright colors I'm seeing for fall, especially with flomo on the horizon—which was originally made popular in the 90's. I'm so over the dull blacks and browns. So, it's time to retire your go-to blacks, browns and navys and add a little color to your wardrobe—and life!

1) Madewell's Silk Flowerveil Top $135
3) Edem Reece Printed Jersey Dress
4) J Crew Ella Dress in flora brocade $188 For those who like FloMo but with a little extra flower detail

Not so brave to try the print fully? Here are some items you can incorporate into your wardrobe until you're fully able to embrace Flomo to the max

Marc by Marc Jacobs Packables Shopper, $68 available at Shopbop
Nicholas Kirkwood Geometric Heel Printed Ankle Boots at $1,595, these are a bit pricey but definitely an investment to your fall fashion wardrobe.

So, are you ready to add some Flomo to your wardrobe? Already seen it around? What's your favorite style? Share below!

Fashion Fridays - One Dress, Three Ways

It's that time again! Fashion Friday Time!

Today I am posting about one of my favorite outfits. An outfit that I literally ALWAYS get complimented on when I'm wearing it. So feast your fashion-hungry eyes on this:

1. This classic piece from Forever 21 is super versatile and can be worn a variety of ways.
2. Mens wear is hot for fall and these Oxfords from Urban Outfitters pair well for your day o errands or for the working gal.
3. Date night you say? These Target Tribal print wedges will make you the apple of his eye and at $29.99, they're a steal you'll have for the long haul.
4. Because of the simplicity of the boat-themed neck line, this Stella & Dot Sierra necklace is just what you need to bring the whole outfit together.
5. A chilly day? Bring this Madewell Charade blazer with you and you're set for the Seattle fall days.
6. For the third and final look, pair with your favorite pair of jeans and it can be worn as shirt - voila!

What's a piece in your wardrobe you wear a variety of ways? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
